John Whitesides
Longtime Reuters journalist John L. Whitesides is retiring.
He’ll depart the information service on the finish of the month.
Whitesides joined Reuters in Hong Kong in 1990 on the Asia desk after 10 years in newspapers on the Omaha World-Herald and Hartford Courant. He additionally labored briefly for a newspaper in Hong Kong.
He later moved to Washington with Reuters as an editor and was then a correspondent overlaying Congress, politics and nationwide affairs. He lined every thing from the Clinton impeachment to Obamacare.
Whitesides is a College of Kansas graduate.
