Simon Rabinovitch
Simon Rabinovitch, the Asia financial system editor for The Economist, is shifting to Washington to cowl the U.S. financial system.
He joined The Economist as Asia economics editor in 2014, primarily targeted on Chinese language economics and finance.
Previous to that he was a correspondent with the Monetary Instances in Beijing and Shanghai from 2011 to 2014. Rabinovitch began as a reporter with Reuters in London and arrived in China in 2007 to cowl the financial system, but additionally had a short stint as a table-tennis specialist in the course of the Beijing Olympics.
He has been interviewed on BBC World Service and NPR, amongst others.
