James Flanigan
James Flanigan, whose twice-weekly column was a mainstay of enterprise protection at The Instances for some twenty years, died Aug. 19 after a short sickness at 85, stories Instances enterprise columnist Michael Hiltzik.
Hiltzik stories, “From the mid-Nineteen Sixties — when he was lured west from a high-level modifying job at Forbes to strengthen The Instances’ enterprise and monetary protection — till 2005, Flanigan guided Instances readers by way of a interval of dizzying adjustments in enterprise, market booms and crashes, bubbles and bursts, scandals and triumphs.
