Diana King, identified for her 1995 hit single “Shy Man,” not too long ago disclosed that her 33-year-old daughter handed away on social media.
On August 5, the Jamaican singer-songwriter wrote a touching tribute to Shalamar Diana Wright- her solely baby.
“FLY FREE MY LUV🖤#SHALAMARDIANA. I WILL FOREVER MISS U, SPOOG. GRATITUDE🙏🏾 FOR CHOOSING ME & BLESSING ME WITH YOUR BEAUTIFUL SOUL — MOM.”
King later revealed that Shalamar had been on life help earlier than she handed away.
On August 13, the grieving mother took to Twitter to elaborate on the “perspective” that her daughter’s loss of life had given her.
“Loss of life retains it actual & places issues in perspective,” she wrote. “I by no means imagined having to make the choice to both preserve my daughter on everlasting life help or permit her to move naturally because the free spirit she was in peace & with dignity. I’m grateful the reply was clear.”
